The OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro as the company’s latest smartphone have officially been launched. Both the phones feature 5G support and come with a hole-punch display. The major difference between both smartphones is that OnePlus 8 Pro comes with quad rear camera setup while the OnePlus 8 has triple rear cameras.

Specifications

1. Display

OnePlus 8 Pro sports a 6.78-inch QHD+ Fluid AMOLED display along with up to 120Hz refresh rate and it is protected by a 3D Corning Gorilla Glass protection.

However, OnePlus 8 has a 6.55-inch Full HD+ Fluid AMOLED display which comes with a 90Hz refresh rate. Its display is protected by a 3D Corning Gorilla Glass protection.

2. Under the hood

Under the hood, both the smartphones are powered by Snapdragon 865 SoC.

3. Cameras

If we talk about camera front, the OnePlus 8 Pro had the quad rear camera setup which includes a 48MP primary Sony IMX689 sensor +8MP telephoto lens +48MP ultra-wide-angle lens +5MP color filter lens. For selfies, it has a 16MP Sony IMX471 sensor at the front.

OnePlus 8 comes with the triple rear camera setup that houses a 48MP Sony IMX586 primary sensor +2MP secondary sensors + 16MP tertiary sensor. At the front, it has a 16MP Sony IMX471 sensor for selfies.

4. Battery

OnePlus 8 Pro is powered by 4,510mAh battery that supports Warp charge 30T (5V/6A) and Warp charge 30 wireless.

However, OnePlus 8 has offered a 4,300mAh that supports Warp charge 30T (5V/6A).

5. Price

The price tag of OnePlus 8 Pro starts at $899 (approx. Rs. 68,400) and in UK it starts at GBP 799 (approx. Rs. 76,500) for 8GB+128GB variant and OnePlus 8 starts at $699 (approx.Rs. 53,200) and in UK it starts at GBP 599 (approx. Rs. 57,400) for 8GB+128GB variant. It will go on sale starting April 29 in the US and April 21 in the UK.

However, OnePlus is yet to announce its price for the Indian market but they can be expected to be revealed later this month.
