1. OnePlus 8 Pro and OnePlus 8 go up for pre-order in India
In India, OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro pre-bookings have started on Amazon. OnePlus 8 starts at Rs. 41,999 for 6GB+128GB storage variant and the highest-end variant 12GB+256GB has been priced at Rs. 49,999. OnePlus 8 Pro starts at Rs. 54,999 for 8GB+128GB and the higher-end variant has been priced at Rs. 59,999 for 12GB+256GB storage variant. However, there’s no clarity on when the phones will start shipping to buyers. It is expected that the deliveries should start on May 11.
2. Redmi Note 9 and Mi Note 10 Lite launched
Xiaomi launched its new smartphone Redmi Note 9 and Mi Note 10 Lite in Europe. Redmi Note 9 starts at $199 (approx. Rs. 15,000) for 3GB+64GB storage variant whereas the top variant comes in at $249 (approx. Rs. 19,000). Mi Note 10 Lite starting at Euro 349 (approx. Rs. 28,000) for 6GB+64GB storage variant. However, the company hasn’t commented on Indian availability yet.
