The company, Xiaomi will host its Global Ecosystem Product Launch event on July 15. In this, it is expected that Xiaomi will make a number of announcements of the new products including Mi Smart Band 5, Mi TV Stick, and the Mi Electric Scooter among others. During the launch event of Redmi Note 9 Series in Germany, we saw first time Mi TV Stick in a slide with its name and design available for public glare. Mi Tv Stick had been listed on Gearbest which pointed out that the device comes with Android 9 support. It also mentioned an $80 price for the Mi TV Stick.
The next device which we get from the event is Mi Band 5 which is the much-awaited successor to the Mi Band 4 was announced in China earlier. The device comes with a similar design as the Mi Band 4. The Mi Band 5 has features such as a new 1.2 inch OLED display with a touch button, sleep tracking, and 11 fitness tracking modes. It can also track the menstrual cycles of women. It also comes with PAI functionality added to the Mi Band 5, similar to the trackers from Amazfit. The company Xiaomi, says that Mi Band 5 comes with an improved processor and the data should be more accurate.
It is also expected that the Mi Electric Scooter 1s could be launched globally at the event. In April, Mi Scooter was launched in China which comes with 500W DC brushless motor which can reach a top speed of 25Km per hour. It also has 8.5-inch shock-absorbing tires.
On July 15, Wednesday the event is scheduled to be live-streamed at 5:30 PM IST with Xiaomi’s official Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and Mi Community hosting the streams live.
