
Today Xiaomi launched pocket-friendly smartphone Redmi 8 in India. It is the successor to the Redmi 7 that launched earlier this year in India.

It sports 6.22 inch HD+ IPS with dot notch display. It is protected by Gorilla Glass 5.

If we talk about design then it comes with Aura Mirror design which gives premium look. It is splash-proof because of nano coating by P2i.
2. Under the hood
Under the hood, it is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 paired with up to 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. It is the same processor which powered the Redmi 8A.
3. Camera
It comes with a dual rear camera which consists of a main 12MP Sony IMX363 sensor and 2MP depth sensor. It also sports Dual PD AI portrait mode. At the front, it has 8MP AI selfie camera.
4. Powerhouse
Redmi 8 packed with massive 5,000mAh battery which supports 18W fast charging. It also comes with type C port, a dedicated slot for microSD card and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Price
The base model 3GB of RAM and 32GB storage which costs at Rs.7,999 and for 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage costs at Rs.8,999. But Xiaomi will offer the first 5 million units of Redmi 8 4GB +64GB storage variant costs at Rs. 7,999. It comes in three colours Onyx Black, Ruby Red and Sapphire Blue. It is available from October 12 at 12 am on Flipkart, Mi.com and Mi Home.
