The new Pixel smartphone, Google Pixel 4a has been launched officially. It is the successor to the Pixel 3a. The new Pixel 4a has a single camera at the both back and the front. Google Pixel 4a comes with Android 10 out of the box. It will debut in India in October exclusively to Flipkart.

Specifications

1. Display

Google Pixel 4a sports a 5.81 inch Full HD+ OLED display with 443ppi pixel density. The Always-on display also has HDR support.

2. Under the hood

Under the hood, Google Pixel 4a is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G SoC paired with 6GB LPDDR4X RAM.

3. Camera

In terms of optics, Google Pixel 4a has a single 12MP camera sensor at the back with an f/1.7 lens and an LED flash module. The back camera supports HDR+ with dual exposure controls, Night shot with astrophotography capabilities, and also OIS (Optical Image Stabilisation) to reduce the impact of usual jerks.

At the front, it has a single 8MP sensor with an f/2.0 lens.

4. Battery

Google Pixel 4a comes with a 3,140mAh battery which supports 18W fast charging. It comes with a USB Type-C adapter.

5. Connectivity

For the connectivity, it includes 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, NFC, GPS/A-GPS, USB Type-C and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

6. Price

In India, it will debut in October exclusively to Flipkart. Google Pixel 4a starts at $349 (approx. Rs. 26,300) for the lone 6GB+128GB model. Initially, it will available for pre-order in the US via the Google store. It will be available from August 20 through the Google store, Amazon, BestBuy.com, and other stores. It comes in a single Jet Black colour option.
